Our physiatrist, Dr. Kelvin Franke, D.O., applies a conservative, non-surgical approach to a broad range of neuromusculoskeletal injuries. These include neck and back pain in addition to many others, including: repetitive-motion-type injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome; acute or sub-acute musculoskeletal injuries such as ankle sprains and shoulder injuries/pain; and osteoarthritis. This approach is ideal for treating injuries, such as whiplash, that arise from motor vehicle accidents as well as work-related injuries.   Beyond this, Dr. Franke is an expert in treating functional impairments due to multiple sclerosis, stroke, and traumatic brain injury/concussion, as well as many other similar conditions.

Dr. Franke prides himself on carefully evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients while taking into account their physical and mental health and how it may be contributing to functional impairment from their injury or condition. He pays close attention to the patient as a whole and not just their injury. In doing so, he uses his specialized training and technical skills to correct and reverse the fundamental causes of the injury or condition.
